01 What it restores

The Home Care Kit is made for dry, dull, tired-looking real wood that needs warmth, depth, and natural luster brought back.
Use it on furniture, cabinets, cutting boards, butcher blocks, antiques, shelves, wood decor, and everyday pieces that have lost some of their richness over time.
It will not cover damage like paint or stain. Instead, it helps revive the natural character of the wood you already have.

02 What's included

The Home Care Kit includes two 8 oz jars of Wood Balm No. 524 and one premium palm wax brush.
The balm restores, polishes, and protects real wood. The brush gives you more control during application, especially on detailed pieces, furniture edges, cabinets, textured grain, and larger surfaces.
It is a practical choice for regular household wood care.

03 How to use it

Start with clean, dry wood. Apply a small amount of balm with the palm wax brush, working it into the surface in the direction of the grain.
Let it absorb for a few minutes, then buff away any excess with a clean cloth. A little goes a long way, so start small and add more only where the wood needs it.
Always test in a small hidden area first, especially on antiques or delicate finishes.

04 When the brush helps

You can apply No. 524 with a soft cloth, but the brush makes the process smoother and more controlled.
It is especially helpful on carved details, edges, chair legs, cabinets, textured grain, and larger surfaces where a cloth can feel less precise.
The brush helps spread the balm evenly while keeping application cleaner and easier.

05 What it's made with

Wood Balm No. 524 is handmade in small batches with certified organic flaxseed oil, beeswax, and orange oil.
Flaxseed oil helps condition the wood. Beeswax helps add a soft protective finish. Orange oil gives the balm its clean, natural scent and helps support smooth application.
No synthetic fragrances, petroleum-based ingredients, or unnecessary fillers.

06 Where to use it

Use the Home Care Kit on real wood surfaces throughout your home, including furniture, cabinets, cutting boards, butcher blocks, wooden bowls, antiques, shelves, doors, trim, and decor.
Do not use it on painted surfaces, floors, sealed high-gloss finishes, or surfaces where added oil or wax is not recommended.
When in doubt, test a small hidden area first.

How long does the Home Care Kit last?

The two jars can treat approximately 16–24 pieces, depending on wood type, dryness, and how much balm each surface absorbs.

Do I need the brush?

No. Artisan Furniture Wood Balm works with a soft cloth. The brush simply gives you more control, smoother coverage, and easier application on detailed or larger wood surfaces.

Can I use it on cutting boards and kitchen wood?

Yes. Artisan Furniture Wood Balm is made with food-safe ingredients and can be used on cutting boards, butcher blocks, wooden utensils, and other kitchen wood. Let the balm absorb and buff away any excess before use.

Will it remove scratches, stains, or water rings?

No. 524 helps restore moisture, richness, and luster to dry wood, but it is not a repair filler, stain remover, or repair product. Deep scratches, water rings, and damaged finishes may need sanding or repair first.

How often should I reapply it?

Most household pieces benefit from reapplication every 6–12 months. Cutting boards and heavily used surfaces may need care more often.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Yes. Once applied, allowed to absorb, and buffed clean, No. 524 is designed for everyday wood surfaces around the home.
As with any wood care product, wipe away excess before use and keep the glass jar out of reach of children and pets to prevent breakage or accidental ingestion.

I love using this product when I refinish furniture, specially inside drawers where the wood seems the driest! I also have used it in other various wood surfaces around my house and it quenches it and makes it look and smell fabulous!
